Where We Work
HDI is a national-level
NGO, working with rural communities and local authorities across the country.
We believe health outcomes can be improved through parallel development of
communities and the health system to respond to and prevent disease and
illness.
HDI works from our headquarters in Kigali to advocate for the health and human rights of all Rwandans through engagement with policy-makers, civil society, and other stakeholders. In addition, we work with district officials and local communities to improve access to and quality of health care. To date, HDI is working in three provinces and six districts: · Eastern Province (Nyagatare, Bugesera districts) · Southern Province (Muhanga district) · Kigali City (Gasabo, Kicukiro, Nyagatare districts) |
